 Several committees have been formed to carry out the following objectives:
 
  • To improve the quality of life in West Orange for all people by examining different aspects of the Township. 
 
  • To encourage a cooperative effort of all citizens including all town residents, officials, professionals, seniors, youth, etc., in moving the Township forward into the 21st century. 
 
  • To call upon all citizens to work together for our common betterment while respecting each other in an effort to use our rich diversity as a positive force. 
 
  • To leave a lasting indication of our residents' commitment to the Township and challenge future generations to always strive for improvements. 
 
  • To welcome new residents into not only the Township, but the fabric of West Orange and as part of the family of West Orange. 
 
  • To encourage, support and communicate the important work done by various community based organizations in West Orange. 
 
  • To recognize and promote the Town's attributes and assets.
